Cyndi's List of Genealogy Sites on the Internet
This is one of the most comprehensive genealogy websites on the internet.

Shawnee County Sheriff's Page This page begins with a piece on George Washington Berry as he was appointed the first sheriff of Shawnee County, Kansas. You will want to read this most interesting article.

Bridge over Wakarusa This page contains an art reproduction from "Sketchbook of Kansas Landmarks" Margaret Whittemore. Topeka, Ks. College Press, 1936. If you are curious about the Arch Bridge built near Berryton that spanned the Wakarusa River you will find this a delight. Thanks to Jack Berry, Jr. for finding this website for us!

Gambrel Family Website This website for the Gambrel family is a great starting point for researchers that are exploring this wonderful family. Henry Gambrel was married to four wives and may have had as many as twenty children. From his second marriage to Nancy Montgomery he had four daughters...Mariah, Mary, Martha and Miranda. The focus of this website although touching on all aspects of the Gambrel clan are these four sisters and their descendants. The areas covered are South Carolina, Southern Indiana, Southern Illinois and Kansas. Leola Pearl Palmer Rigg was the daughter in law of Miranda Gambrel Rigg.

Gibson County, Indiana GenWeb Page A great starting point for people searching for their roots in Gibson County, Indiana.

Gibson County Cemeteries Online Many of these cemetery links include the names, dates and inscriptions off of the tombstones. I highly commend the efforts of these Gibson County volunteers for this huge endeavor!

Butler County, Kansas GenWeb Page A great starting point for people searching for their roots in Butler County, Kansas.

Rigg Family Webpage This website for the Rigg family gives an indepth exploration of Thomas Townley Rigg and Miranda Gambrel Rigg's descendants and also a comprehensive study of the ancestors of Thomas Townley Rigg. It includes documents, pictures, stories, links and much more.

Heather's Webzone This website was created by my daughter, Heather. She is a very talented web designer and most of what I have learned regarding web page designing I have learned from her. Her website features pictures and narrative from trips she has taken with her husband, Tim, and some games that are just for fun. She has also added in depth coverage of the September 11th incident and it's aftermath. I guarantee you'll learn something new while visiting her page.

Patricia This website was created by me in an attempt to encourage people to write. We all have something to share. Whether it be a short story or an epic! A poem or lyrics to a song... So many times we get caught up in the history of our families and we neglect the here and now. My website features pictures and poems; essays and fairy tales; and historical non-fiction that I have written about some of the history of Butler County. I hope that you will enjoy visiting this site.
